From OpenPogo
Welcome to OpenPogo!
We can help you get much more out of your Pogoplug, by adding additional software, such as what you see below.
All software is free and open source and taps into the Pogoplug's 1.2GHz ARM processor and 256MB RAM (The Sheevaplug and TonidoPlug have 512MB RAM).

News
- OpenPogo will be changing its name to PlugApps soon. This is "OpenPogo 2.0" and will push the limits on your hardware. More information soon.
- Please do not use OpenPogo on the new Pogoplug v2 "Pink" or Seagate Dockstar. While they contain the same hardware and software as the original Pogoplug, which is supported, you run a risk of bricking your device by running OpenPogo. We are not responsible for any damage caused.

Developers
Developing for the Pogoplug is similar to developing for Linux. You might even be able to run the basic "configure", "make" and "make install" commands with success on your Pogoplug. However, we would like to offer developers a more streamlined and systematic way of managing their applications for the OpenPogo platform. OpenPogo packages are made from OptWare's makefiles - files which guide the Pogoplug into building and packaging your application up, ready to be included in our Community repository. Read more...
